Olivia Blake MP challenged the government’s immigration record by bringing to light deaths in the channel and the latest scandal of missing refugee children. Olivia Blake MP posed the question to the Prime Minister that rather than the “cruel gimmick” that is the Rwanda policy, wouldn’t the best way to deter channel crossings would be to “introduce safe and legal routes to claim asylum?”
