Webinar recording: Are employers ready for the new immigration rules?
From 1st January 2020 freedom of movement between the UK and Europe will end and a new set of immigration rules will come into effect. The key elements have been announced and will be legislated for in tranches over the next few months. Employers will have to re-examine the way they manage their workforce and put new policies, systems and processes in place at precisely the same time that COVID has had a major impact on the way that most do their business.
This event aims to explore the different impacts of the new rules on very different sectors, to identify common challenges and opportunities and possible improvements to the way that the system is configured, and to help parliamentarians to understand the likely impacts in their constituencies, communities and the economy as a whole.
