RAMP Bristol: New hosts for asylum seekers found through recent campaign

RAMP Bristol advisers helped develop a joint campaign between Bristol City Council and Bristol Hospitality Network which has led to 8 new hosts for asylum seekers. Mayor Marvin Rees (RAMP Cities Principal in Bristol) encouraged potential hosts to come forward, citing this as "a great opportunity to make sure that no-one has to return to the streets following the Covid-19 crisis, and that includes people seeking asylum in our city." See media coverage of the campaign in local news from Bristol 24/7 (seen above) and from the BBC.
