“I have tabled an amendment to the Illegal Migration Bill – and it could change everything” Says Oliva Blake MP

RAMP co-chair Olivia Blake MP writing for the Independent, gives more details on the amendment she has tabled for the Illegal Migration Bill.

Olivia explains that the amendment is modelled on the Ukrainian Resettlement Scheme and is supported by PCS Union and Care for Calais.

Attracting over 40 signatures, Olivia met with Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper MP to discuss whether elements of it could be incorporated into the Labour Party’s policy.
